Yidu Textile Factory grabs 460,000 cotton from the fire

After receiving the alarm, the Yidu Fire Brigade rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire and evacuated more than a hundred people and successfully transferred 460,000 materials.

The fire broke out at the textile factory at 6:15 pm the same day, Yidu fire brigade received an alarm and said that a textile factory located on the textile road had a fire and requested assistance. The brigade quickly dispatched two water tankers, a foam fire truck, and 20 fire brigades to the scene. The fire brigade officers saw a long distance of more than 30 meters of smoke from the fire. More than a hundred people gathered around the fire, and more than a dozen employees Looked flusteredly aside, the entire scene was in disarray.

"Don't be close, it's dangerous inside." The fire brigade reminded employees trying to get close to the site and immediately set the cordon. “At that time, I passed this, and I heard a loud noise from 'Ye'. Then I saw a blaze.” The citizen, Mr. Yang, said that the nearby citizens had also reported to the police immediately after they learned of the fire.

The emergency evacuation of more than a hundred people’s instructors quickly established an on-site command post and set up an evacuation, alert, fire-fighting, and investigation team to evacuate people in the vicinity of the fire, opened a rescue tunnel, and ensured the order of the fire scene.

After investigation by the fire brigade, it was found that the burning material was a cotton pile, and the burned area was about 400 square meters. A large number of finished and semi-finished cotton piled up in the factory were burning violently and there was a tendency to spread. The safety of the factory on the left side of the fire site was serious. The fire extinguishing team immediately fired the fire-fighting plant and at the same time mobilized three full-time fire brigades of Zhicheng, Honghuatao and Zhicheng depots to reinforce the fire.

After 1 hour and 30 minutes, the fire was basically controlled. Subsequently, the fire brigade fired the flammable cotton fabric. Three hours later, the fire was completely extinguished.

After the successful transfer of 460,000 supplies, fire officers and men organized the plant's employees to transfer cotton. At 1.50 a.m. yesterday, the transfer of materials in the warehouse was completed and the value of 460,000 materials was successfully recovered.

It is understood that the factory building is used to store cotton. The area over 400 square meters over the fire has caused no casualties. At the time of the incident, there was no one in the factory building. At present, the causes and losses of the fire were under further investigation.
