January 16, imported cotton prices stabilized

On January 16, the quoted price of imported cotton in China's main port fluctuates slightly. The overall change is about 0.20 cents. As the Spring Festival approached and the price of cotton declined, some textile mills were waiting to supplement the post-holiday inventory. The inquiry and transaction volume increased slightly, and the offer price for customs clearance cotton also showed signs of strength. In recent days, rumours concerning China’s increase in quotas have driven international cotton prices higher. In the last week before the Spring Festival, the cotton spot market is expected to be calm.

In the SM1-1/8′′ grade cotton, the US C/A cotton quotation is 114.65 (cents/lb, the same below), and the general trade port pick-up price 18,980 yuan/t (according to the sliding tax calculation, with).

The quoted price for US E/MOT cotton is 112.60, which is equivalent to 18,662 yuan/ton for general trading ports.

Australian cotton is quoted at 119.10, discounted at 19,690 yuan/ton for general trading ports.

Uzbekistan cotton quoted at 114.65, discounted 18,980 tons at the general trading port.

The quoted price for West Africa cotton is 105.60, which is equivalent to 17,565 tons for the general trading port.

The US E/MOTM1-3/32′′ grade cotton price is 110.20, and the general trade port collection price is 18286 yuan/ton.
