Textile Lab of Jiangsu Changshu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau through CNAS Review

Recently, the Textile Laboratory of Changshu Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Jiangsu Province has been regularly supervised and reviewed by CNAS. Experts of the assessment team have reported on the status report, on-site visits, data access, operation evaluation, and communication with each other. They believe that the management system and technical capabilities of the laboratory can It satisfies CNAS accreditation requirements, and fully affirms the meticulous management of the site, the effective operation of the quality system, the rapid growth of inspection services, and the comprehensive quality and technical capabilities of the personnel. The review team agreed to recommend maintenance to CNAS.

In recent years, the textile laboratory of the Changshu Bureau has closely focused on the transfer of the focus of inspection and quarantine work, as well as the basic safety technical requirements for textiles. Through the improvement of management systems, improvement of personnel quality, enhancement of testing skills, and improvement of work quality, the testing business continues to grow. Last year, the laboratory received a total of 2,170 inspections, with over 22,000 items detected, a 17.8% increase and 21.4% increase over the same period of the previous year. Detection** found that 68 batches were unqualified. The major unqualified items were poor color fastness, pH value and fiber composition exceeding the standard requirements. The unqualified batches involved in Anweihuan and anti-fraud accounted for 91.2% of the total unqualified batches.
