Sonia Rykiel created the 2009 Winter Underwear Collection for H&M and was performed by models Lara Stone, Caroline Trentini and Anne Vyalitsyna.

H&M and Nathalie Rykiel, president and artistic director of Sonia Rykiel, jointly announced that Sonia Rykiel will be the next guest designer to create the 2009 Winter Underwear Collection and Spring 2010 Fashion. The French company was founded by the "Queen of Knits" (Knitting Queen) and is a model of the unique, modern and arrogant spirit of Paris. This marks the first time H&M has expanded the cooperation of designers to lingerie and related accessories; this exclusive design series will be launched on December 5, 2009 in 1,500 H&M stores around the world, and Sonia Rykiel will also be present in all of its world-class boutiques. The simultaneous launch of the lingerie line by the fashion store is another innovation by H&M.

H&M and Sonia Rykiel, who have always been shocked, have again announced that they will cooperate again in the spring of 2010 to introduce a knitwear and fun accessories for girls and girls (1⁄2 to 8 years old) with a graphic design. The second series will be launched in about 250 H&M stores around the world on February 20, 2010.
