3, see the hardness

Gold with a high color can be traced with a pin or nail. More than 97% of the gold jewellery, after bending two or three times, wrinkles appear at the bend, also known as fish scales; 95% of the color of the gold jewelry, feels hard when bent, fish scales are not obvious; 90% of the color of gold Jewelry, hard when bent, no fish scales; gold jewelry with more impurities, bent two or three times to break; if it is made of raw gold, the bend is broken, the section has obvious sand-like shape.

4, listen to the sound

If the color is more than 99% of the real gold thrown on the hard ground, it will make a loud noise, no sound and no elasticity. The fake or low-quality gold sound is crisp and not dull, and generally gives a "dangdang" sound, and the sound has a residual sound.

5, 掂 weight

The specific gravity of gold is 19.3g/cm3, and the relationship between coloration and specific gravity is large. When the specific gravity is close to 19.3, the higher the pure gold. Whether it is commensurate with the size of the hand by the weight of the hand, the shape is large and light may be adulterated. But generally in the hands, if you feel a little sinking, you can feel that it is real gold jewelry, which shows that the gold body is small and heavy. Be wary of stupid and light ornaments, and carefully identify whether it is a fake or a fake.

6, try hard and hard

The higher the color of gold jewelry, the softer it is, the less elastic it is. The gold is bitten or needled with a light mark, and the hand is folded without broken lines. The low color steel is hard; the heavy blender is elastic, brittle and fragile. Pure gold is soft, generally not used for inlaid jewelry, so the inlaid gold ornaments claim to be 24K, there must be fraud.

7, scraping plate method
